The Media Octopus is seeking high-performance sales professionals to join the team in South Manchester, focussing on generating new business and then managing those accounts. You will be joining one of the UK’s leading digital agencies that already work with many major brands across a variety of sectors.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling digital lead generation solutions across Paid Search & Social Media to medium size businesses right up to blue chip. Whilst not essential, a knowledge of the digital landscape would certainly be an advantage.

The Person

  • Self-motivated and driven sales professional
  • Degree educated
  • Strong prospecting ability and background
  • Proven track record of selling in a B2B environment
  • Puts the customer at the heart of the sale
  • Socially confident with excellent presentation skills
  • A passion, knowledge or experience of digital marketing
  • Goal orientated
  • Experience in selling AdWords is a must

The Package

  • Salary between £19,000 – £30,000 basic depending on experience
